im gonna get my windows tinted...what % tint should i go for. im not very familiar with the tints, but i dont want like 3% tint where it looks all black, but i do like the privacy of having tinted windows. i have black leather interior, so what tint should i go for so my interior wont boil in the summertime.

well first of all what color is your car? with a darker car i have found you dont need as dark of a tint to make it look dark plus you have a black interior. i am thinkin about 20% is what your looking for.

I would say part of the choice should be what the local lawdawg will allow. I know here in georgia, 23 is the best for legal. I understand the po-po is quick witha ticket if the sensor shows todark a tint. Also my .02 is that a tint is only as good in the day as is usable at night. Limo tint might get old real fast if you drive much at night. This all siad, i just had 23 installed on mine, and dig it!.

i have 15% on the sides with 5% for the hatch and the front window strip. the back window might as well be painted at night. the worst is paying someone to do it then wishing you had gone darker. i wouldn't go any lighter than 20%. that's my

Currently my s-10 has 15% in the front and 5% in the back. If your not worried about much I would recommend you trying to keep the same througout, I feel it looks better. I agree saying I wouldnt recommend higher than 20%, in MI you can not have any tint, and some of my buddies have gotten tickets for 20%. I did them myself for $50, not too bad overall. Had hardest time with front two.

depends on the law in your area, if I could do whatever I wanted to do, I'd get 5% in back and 20% in front.
