Functional "Power Blisters"?

Has anyone seen functional power blisters as seen on 91-92' Z28's?

Re: Functional "Power Blisters"?

There are a few people here who have done it..the stock trim that is in the opening of the blister and grill mesh is put in it's place. Holes are also cut into the hood right above the radiator at the bottom of the blisters. A quick search will bring it up. I have yet to see anyone comment on the results of the actual functionality/driving difference though.

Yeah I thought it'd put a little more muscle look into it. I'd like to try it but I'm only concerned with water getting in there?

does not seem worth the time and effort, even more so if it is a car thats driven in the rain

Re: Functional "Power Blisters"?

I like mine just like they are. To make them functional would be very time ocsuming and hard to do probably. But I would love to read if someone did it.

Yeah I would too, I guess just the fact that there only there for appearances kinda bugs me even if functionality didnt help at all
