black magic tire gel

i used to use the colored tire gel that black magic puts out, but here lately i haven't been able to find it in any of the local parts houses i've been in. does anyone know if they are still making it, and where the best place to look is? seriously, i've been to AutoZone, NAPA, Advance, Pep Boys....you name it i've been there.

I have the same problem. I haven't been able to find it for about a year. I've got about one application left.

Re: black magic tire gel

Black Magic is the only gel I've ever used that doesn't spin off all over the paint, and no I don't use too much.

Re: black magic tire gel

does the armorall gel that you're talking about have different color options?? i've seen the regular tire gel stuff that they have, but it's more like a "wet shine".

Re: black magic tire gel

They did sell it with colors. My sister got purple before, haha. The gel just had purple flakes in it. Actually looked kind of cool when the sun hit it.

I've heard good things about Meguairs high endurance tire gel (the purple stuff).

Re: black magic tire gel

why would you want your tires to have a colored gel on them? seems tacky to me

Different strokes for different folks. If everyone liked the same thing, and had the same taste, things would be boreing with everything.

Opinions are something that cannot be argued. There is no true answer.

Re: black magic tire gel

Ive only had luck with meguairs tire shine, the purple stuff. It seems to last decent and doesnt fly up over the paint(which i hate the most) but its not that shiny. Doesnt have a "wet" appearance.
