I know I've seen this on the boards before and now I saw it on ebay. Hasn't anyone told you that when to add the Z28 spoiler you take off the old one?

Sorry, but I really hate when people do that.. its like when the ricers add their double-decker wings.

I think thats the first 3rd gen I saw with 2 spoilers...I see lots of 4th gens with them tho...I think the people are just too dumb to realize you can take the old spoilers off.

Yeah I like the Z-28 spoiler.. and I like the RS spoiler... but if I were this guy I'd shoot myself, because I don't like them enough to think they'd actually look good together.. How ugly is that... hehe

Twick, As far as I know, the only 4th gens with 2 spoilers are the ones that HAVE to be there. This would be the supra(rice) spoiler, and the rs/roadster spoilers. The stocker has to be there for these, the rest completly replace the old spoiler. But if you got pics, Id like to see them

hey that car is forsale! i saw it on ebay the other day.

and i do have to say. yes i dont like that but there is a guy here in Davenport IA who has a 1991 RS camaro hardtop with both spoilers and we saw it one night while driving and we stopped and made fun of him for like 10 minutes because the Z28 spolier was flappin in the wind, the bolts that he put through broke so it was holdin by 1 bolt, it was the funniest thing ever on a camaro!! man he got flamed that night!

just had to add that. i thought it was funny, and that green car reminded me of that night a couple weeks ago!

i saw a guy in my parking lot with a black iroc-z, daytona turbo hood, draglites sticking way out of the wheel wells, and the stock spoiler was preceded by a generic ***** wing that says iroc-z on the back...the wing just totally ****s it up....sad......

coming to his defense here... it doesn't really look that bad in person...

but hey... if you don't know much body work, it costs a ****load to have a shop out here fill the holes and match the paint...

most of them out here won't do rearend work like that unless they redo the entire rear end... and $1000 to have it done is pretty fuggin spendy for a few holes...

and don't say "oh just bondo it and get a paint stick" or whatever... lol ... y'all are going beyond stupid with this because the person decided to put money elsewhere and all that... you decide to rip on someone without knowing facts, which is kinda stupid IMO ... but do as you wish...

either way its in way better condition than mine ... I'm not a big fan of the Z28 spoilers myself but I don't care at this point... I've looked into an aftermarket spoiler... and yanno what? I don't know jack about body work, and I don't want to bondo it... having a shop in WA do it is spendy...

Personally, I think doing a ****ty bondo job would look better than both on there at once. Sorry, but two spoliers is just overdoing it.

I'm not ripping on him. As for the facts, the fact is he has two spoilers on his car at once and my opinion of that is it doesn't look good. I'm not saying this guy is an idiot or anything. His opinion is that it looks good and he is entitled to his opinion just like everyone else.

its not a matter of his opinion at that point... its more of having one of the following options and not being able to do many of them for obvious reasons:

1 ~ mismatched paint, showing obvious holes
2 ~ unfilled holes
3 ~ shyt bondo job that may not last
4 ~ paying upwards of $900 to have the entire backend repainted to match after the holes were filled by a shop
5 ~ leave it and put up with arseholes who like to dig in at the little things when they have no knowledge about the persons liking, options at the time, etc...
6 ~ leave it and not really give a damn since he's selling it and it won't be his problem because he's got something thats a bit more him
7 ~ not put the spoiler on and have it generally mis-match the hood

lotta reasons why the other spoiler wasn't taken off, but some people dont seem to care enough and pick at an otherwise beautiful car that was kept, for the most part, in top condition

Anyways... if you guys want a camaro to pick on I'll post pictures of mine, atleast it'll look worse and have more problems than that one ever will

its not going to be his much longer... so it won't be his problem after a week or two anyway

The facts being that he doesnt have the case to spend getting it done right, i got a good one for him, DONT BUY A SPOILER UNLESS YOU CAN AFFORD TO PUT IT ON RIGHT. Seems like a matter of common sense to me but hey what do I know.

Exactly. My car needs a new front nose and I'm also going to replace the ground effect, parking lights, and add fog lights. I'm not just gonna buy all the stuff and put it on if I don't have the money to get it painted.

And I'm younger than that, I'm 16. I don't like it. We all have our opinion, and I think it looks like ****. You think it looks "tight". Ok then, I'm not gonna argue with you. But when I see it on your car, I'll probably still think it looks like ****.

I was considering doing the same thing if I ever got a '91-'92 wing. The only reason being that I wouldn't want holes left by the original spoiler to fix. It really doesn't look that bad. You guys are totally jaded!
