Neon undercar lights

Hello..

alright...i live in a area where going down gravel roads is a must.(i cant even leave my house without going over 2 miles on gravel)..im wondering if neon lights would be able to handle this? or would they break?...ive got a maui blue formula and wanted to put some bluish colored lights under it (cant do true blue its against the law here)..but would they handle the abuse?

I've got neons on my iroc. I do have a gravel driveway but there is no prob there. It really depends on how fast youre going and what brand of neons you have. More than likely there wouldnt be a problem because most neons have a protective tube over the actual neon. The real thing that you have to watch out for is speed bumps.

I agree I have had my neon for ever I got when it was first becoming poplular awile back in my area. Never had one break no matter where I drove although my wires burned up. Get one with a good warranty.

Hmm so they are gravel safe..thats good...one of my friends tried to pass of the line that it was just a glass tube that would break very quickly...which apparently isnt true....thanks guys

besides, streetglow, if you decide to get their brand which i suggest, has a lifetiime warrentee on them. my friend had his on at a bar one night, and someone kicked them all out and they got replaced for free. on mine, my wire came off while driving and ran it over and it just crushed. got a new one for free. the tube is made of a thick plastic so i wouldn't worry about gravel. my car sits soo low that my cat. conv. bracket is always scraping off the ground. even ripped my exhaust off last year comming down a bumpy brick hill and it caught on the brick and ripped it right off from the cat all the way back, yet the neons survived.
