I want to remove all of my rear defroster or get a glass that doesn't include one, has anyone done this or know of where to find something like this? I would really like to be able to remove the defroster, but it doesn't look possible!

 

I think you would be better off finding a rear hatch without the defogger. I see lots of them on the road, usually earlier base cars, so I wouldn't think that it would be too hard. Might have to try out of the rustbelt though, maybe the southwest.

 

I'm not sure if this is normal or not but I was able to scrape the lines and such off with a very sharp razor blade and quite a bit of time
(defrost didn't work anyways)
