i detail cars for a living and i would recommend a wax job,it truly can do wonders and protects the paint,if you lived in new york i would help you get her gleeming again,
turtle wax and meguiars are great waxes,i also trust mothers alot too for there interior and wheel products, you might have to wax her a few times to bring it up but it will be worth it,just dont wax in direct sunlight, pull her in the garage and do it or in the shade.

i got some paint chipping and scratches where its litterally done to the primer in some spots. not a lot, like a square inch by t tops and stuff but thats getting fixed like this weekend. so since it wont be done for awhile, would polish help any or do i NEED wax?

1992 Firebird 3.1L V6 automatic, power everything, t tops. needs some TLC and some work but very nice otherwise!

currently stock..maybe an aftermarket muffler put on before i bought the car, sounds kinda loud

there isn't much for real scratch removal, color back is supposed to be good.i think when it comes to scratches find someone wh can touch it up some,on some colors like white its easy to hide little stuff.if you tried waxing to bring the color up then i dont know what to say as it usually works, maybe you just need to keep trying because my friend brought his ride here and said he tried and couldn't help it but when i did it came up really good and he was stunned.
