I have a 86 camaro I live in Springfield Mo. does anyone know of a good place to get my car painted it does'nt have any damage. It's just faded and how much do you think it will run me?

 

A GOOD quality repaint will be $3000+. You can find a cheaper repaint but the results will show it. It really depends on how good of a job you expect, on how much it will cost. If you just want shiny and one color, you can probably find a $2000 repaint. If you are like me and you don't want to see any sanding scratches, dirt, or fisheyes, and want the car painted w/ all the trim removed and then reassembled and buffed, you can easily exceed $5000+ on just a straight up repaint, with no body work.

 

I just had my car done. Body work and paint came to 4500 bucks.

 

The paint jobs we do at our shop run from 3K and go up from there. Here's where the term ...."you get what you pay for" really plays outthere's a huge difference in a quality job and a cheap job. Seach around ask locals with nice looking cars where the got thiers done ect.. take your time find a good place.

 

I just had mine done for $2400 which I consider a steal. Came out straight and great.
