Clarification: Seek pix of Torque Thrust D!!
Clarification: Seek pix of Torque Thrust D!!
In response to my request I've been sent some pix of beautiful 3d gens with TTII's, ie. the chrome torque thrust wheels by AR. They look great but aren't my style, I'm not a big fan of chrome wheels (for me - they look great on other people's cars).
I'm thinking more of a muscle car look. I would like to see how the Torque Thrust D's would look on my 1992 Firebird convertible. D's are the Torque Thrusts that have chrome around the outer ring but the centers are a medium grey color. It's sort of a retro thing which I like. Not unlike the shoes worn by Steve McQueen's Mustang in "Bullitt."
Anyone seen a third gen with these mounted?

I Have a poster with a red 67 firebird with the torq-thrust D's on it, it looks cool. I thought about putting them on a thirdgen but didn't like the look because of the finish. But American racing does makes a new chrome version, check it out at www.americanmag.com (click on wheels). hehe, $350 a piece though.

What about getting the insides painted or powdercoated to match the car? Some of the older cars came like this factory.
