Want opinions on what to do with these rims
I'd like some suggestions on what to do to these rims. I'm tired of trying to keep them clean by polishing them (clear coat stripped, it was horrible looking), polish/cleaner doesn't even do much for them. Has anyone painted them, in various configurations even, to make them look ok. I don't have money for a new set of rims right now, so I'd like to try and make these look the best they can.
edit: Also, I'd rather not reallllly polish them, ie sand and polish, not just the cleaner/polish compound that I use now. Too much work.

Well, I suppose you could try to trade them or sell them. Painting them takes some prep for the paint to stick, I don`t think it would work very well. I`m thinking you may have to "etch" the wheels with acid to get them porous enough for paint to stick and if you don`t like it your stuck with 1 strange looking wheel. I suppose you could try painting them without the prep just to see how it would look and remove the paint if you don`t like it. Your best bet, see if you can trade them for wheels you like. In my area we have a newspaper type of thing (The Recycler) that has only adds that are free to place and if you have something like it in your area give it a try.
