Light Help
Light Help
I have a 87 Formula Firebird. It is one of the models made in 86, had the third brake light and the flat spoiler. Third brake light hit the trash can 2 months ago. LOL Anyway, I put a set of Trans Am light on it. My lights had 4 clear lights so I taped those up and cut the sockets needed at pic and pull. Problem is lights are so dim in daytime you can not see them. Do I need brighter bulbs, or should I have wired up the small lites which were always on in there. Also, can you buy brighter bulbs. Need help on this one.

Re: Light Help
what did you tape? the bulbs? they are fine clear, the tail lights have red lenses in them which make the light red
Re: Light Help
Yeah the set I purchased from a t/a has 6 spots, the formula has 10. The small lights help light up the back. But the T/A lights didnt have that, so I deleted.
