How to clean Rims?

Car: currently looking for a 1991 TA GTA
Engine: 305 TPI
Transmission: Auto
How to clean Rims?
I just got some stock gta rims at the junk yard and they have a lot of brake dust on them. I washed them but there is still some left, How could I clean them and polish them so they could look clean?

look in the technical articals for some details. 
. i used sandpaper then i painted but either way you got to get that original finish off. look at the sticky thread at the top section of this page
