92 Z28 scoops on a 92 RS hood?
Hello
Can I put 91-92 Z28 stock hood scoops on a 92 RS hood?
Is there a difference between a 92 RS hood and a 92 Z28 hood?
Cause a friend can sell me a set of hood scoops from a 92 Z28 but I don't know if I can put them on my RS hood.

You will need his hood to install them on your RS. Otherwise they will just be bolted up on top of your hood and look like crap.

The hood blisters (scoops) will not directly fit onto an RS hood. You will need a 85-90 z28/Iroc-Z or 91-92 Z28 hood.

the z28 hoods have indents in them for the blisters to fit into, your rs hood doesn't have any holes for the mounting bolts either (if they're bolted in, they may be clip in, I dunno Im a Firebird guy)

They are bolted in with a speed nut....I have an 87 with 92 blisters....

HawkThirdGenParts.com sells the blisters that are made to fit on the flat hood...

They go for $130 a pair, and you would need to drill holes in your flat hood, along with some prep work to get them to work.
