Windshield Polishing Questions...

I've cleaned my windshield the best I can, I even used steel wool, and it has little sand pits all over it and a couple of very small nics from tiny rocks.

Is there a polish that will fill these in specs and polish the windshield to new??

Thanks,

Alex

Would any polish work?? Don't I need one that will dry clear so I don't have spots where the polish filled in the specs??

Zaino makes/made a polishing compound for windshields. It needs to be applied with a buffer as I recall. If it is the same caliber as the rest of the Zaino products I am sure it is good.

You could do what I did, replace the windshield. Not trying to be a smartass but it is going to take a lot of work to get a pitted windshield back to mint condition.
