I think it looks great, but I'm partial because my 83 TA has the same body style, rear spoiler and gfx (or lack of gfx). It is refreshing, they are rarer to see since most people prefer the 85-90 style. My only recommendation since you asked would be to paint the bottom of the car white (where GM put the black strip all the way around). When I repainted mine I made it all one color and the difference is drastic. Just the color change at the bottom gives the car the "look" of a lower stance.
As for waxes, I use 3Ms Perfect-It system with excellent results. The "board" pretty much agrees that Zaino is the best there is, but 3M is available at local auto shops.

 

Nice car. I guess that is what my car is supposed to look like. My car ('83 TA) has the front end from an '86 TA along with the gfx from an '86, and the hatch from an '86(has the third brake light). My car also has a 350. I am 16, and it is my first car. I suggest you do the same to your car, in my own opinion I like the looks of the '85-'90. I did not do the exterior mods to my car though, the previous owner did. When I get my digital camera, I will post pics.

 

yah im 16 too.....well i dont know about all the body stuff....but i DO plan on droppin a 350 in there......right now i am just gonna fix this one up some more and TRY to make the L69 faster...:P
