Anyone used a dremel on there wheels?

My wheels are Formula wheels the flat face of the wheel is polished nice but the internal faces are rough and untouched. I can't think of anything other than a dremel type tool to get in there and sand it down and polish it. I tried using the dremel to help polish the out side but youcould see the swirl marks and the attachments get loaded with polish to fast. Does anyone have a technique with a dremel that they have tried and had success with?

Use a Black & Decker mouse sander. It has the attachment to get into those hard to reach "fins".

After days of work I decided to send them out. Trust me when I tell you polishing WS6 wheels is HELL!

Hey Josh,

Another option is to use peices from a port and polish kit. I have some real small wheels that fit on a mendrel. I think they are 120 grit, but on a die grinder it might be your ticket.

I have a set of 16" 91 rims. I used a Dremel on mine and it took forever. I went through about 30 sand bits because they would dull quickly. It does cut into the aluminum, but that has to be hand sanded out or use the Mouse like everyone else.
