Broom Scratches on White Body!

Hey guys,

I think I ruined my car's paint. I kept it outside and in the morning I would use a broom to wipe off all the snow. I've washed this car numerous times and I can't get the brown bristle marks off. When the car is dry I can scratch them off with my nail so it seems to be some super hard dirt. I've been using ICE Car wash. Should I be using claybar? What is it and will it get rid of these ugly brown patches on my car? Do you recommend any good ones? I really screwed up.

-Peace

yea i dont see it being to deep from a straw broom if the other stuff mentioned above doesnt work like the clay bar and stuff you could get a buffer and some compound and polish and go to work.

Just use good old WD-40 and you will be happy again.

After you use it to get the crap off your paint you will need to put a good coat of wax on her.

I agree with GOOMAN. Do the simple stuff first and try to disolve the broom marks with WD-40, or adhesive remover, or just soap and water with a microfiber rag. Then spot polish and wax. My experience says a clay bar will take a long time and a bunch of elbow grease if it even works at all on this. You need something to disolve the residue and not mar the paint.
