Super new to the Third Gen world... just grabbed an 88' at the end of last summer. Needless to say I am desperately waiting for this long Canadian winter to finish... here is the day I decided to buy her and one of the few nice days I drove her! Awesome site btw... have learned a lot so far!

Motor on the stand will be going in next winter....4.8L LR4, big single turbo with a 4l80e

My father actually has a white/silver gfx 84 as well. Pretty funny I ended up with the same colour scheme as him.

Here's my 91 rs with iroc suspension and lt1 swap

 

 

Not quite done yet. Still need wheels and tires and a few other things. Only 12K miles. Nothing like a white car.

 

How hard was the ZL1 swap pork? Are you gonna put on Black ZL1 rims?!?!!?! Thats what i want to do!!!!!

 

well since I am having it done I can tell you that Bruce said there was way more to do and that there were several things that were different than a regular ls1 swap. Lots of conversion stuff for the 6 speed and quite a few other things though I don't have details. Since it's Hawks first time doing an LSA it's going to take longer. Right now he said he has about twice as many hours in it as a regular swap. I am an old guy so for me Chrome looks the best for wheels.

here is mine. still working on some of the details. planning to change to the red z28 emblems on the rockers and rear, some front offset wheels for the back, and maybe ditch the pinstripes.

Nothing like the cars posted in this thread, but i do own a White F-body!! Had to get in the mix! Bad pics, here she is

 

I used it last year on my white car. It's an interesting product. If feels gritty, almost like toothpase. I would swear it would scratch the paint, but it doesn't. It cleans very well. I was rather impressed by how much the car brightened up after I used it. I even clayed the car before using the white wax. I will use it again.
