Greasy streaks on outside of window?

i was crusing around tonight and i had my windows down. we got near a dead skunk so i put the drivers side window up and i noticed streaks on the window. i put it down half way and touched the outside of the window where the streak was and it was greasy.

any idea where this stuff comes from? and i assume i can clean it off with glass cleaner without any problems?

by the way, my windows are manual not power.

yeah, it's probably just road oil and air pollutants, plus whatever else is in the rain if you've driven in it lately.

just wash it off and be sure to clean the rubber sweeps with some soapy water, too. (inside and out, helps if the window's rolled down)
