I'm using Omni AE Midnight Black paint and was wondering what is the best tip size to spray a nice smooth coat. When I primered it, it came out kinda orange peely. The gun I'm using isn't a HVLP and it has a .082 nozzle.
Did I have the gun adjusted wrong when I did the primer or do I need to go over it with 400 or 600 sandpaper and that's just the way the primer paints or what? I've never done this before but I will get it right eventually. What air pressure should I have at the gun? Thanks.

If your primer was orange peel-ly you should have wetsanded it with 400/600 to level. Then sprayed sealer. Then your basecoat. On the non-HVLP you should be shooting at around 55-60 psi.
