Re: How to polish these
There was a post a while back, some guy had polished his alum. wheels. Took about a week on each wheel, real tough job. Looked great when finished but I'd guess the hours are not worth the look?

don't get me wrong , no slam intended . FORGET ABOUT IT !!! i have 2 sets , would give you a set if you P/U . they are very common and hard to polish . best you can do is a good paint job and maybe polish the outer rim face . good luck .

Re: How to polish these
Honestly, you should just leave them like they are. Yes, they can be polished , but it is a lot of work(and let me stress a lot). And then in the end, they are still 15X7" wheels that hold little to no value, and and the effort involved is not worth the minuscule change in the overall appearance of your car. I did a set of IROC wheels one time, and I would bet you that I had a good 40 hours plus materials into it when I was done, but the larger 16" wheels actually have some value (but would I do it again? probably not unless I had a set where I did not have to clean up curb rash), where the 15" wheels are basically just worth scrap value, no matter what they look like. Trust me, you would be a whole lot better off just watching craigslist for a good deal on something else than wasting your time and money on those.

I bought these to try and keep the car original. I like the IROC wheels don't get me wrong but since mine is a RS I didn't want to put IROC wheels on it. Since the car came factory with that size, I wanted to stick with it. Personally I like my wheels. They made a difference in the looks compared to what was on the car.
