92' Camaro, needs somthing exotic, ahh a head turner

I've been gone for a while, anyway, i saw and dowloaded the movie"THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS" I cant seem to get past the imports, the way they modified them. U could say rice rice rice, all u want, doesnt really affect me. But im sort of tired of the boring original 92' camaro front bumper, The only thing i could think of was installing 92' Z28 spoiler and Zr1 rims, To be honest i want somthing extoic done to the body, besides cowl hood, something exotic, a head turner. I mean i have a 305 tpi pushing 400 horses, but i want the car, to look, sick, anyone know of a website, that has body fabrications for 92' camaros, Just so u know im on a budget, so i dont need anything to change the whole body, just something to change the front bumper, Fenders, anything,

Dude, u can have a car that will get attention without going to "rice" to get it or changing your bumpers to something ridiculous. Look at some custom cars to get ideas, like the MYZ. Camaros that look muscular and like they want to kick a** is the way to go. I like some of them stock better than modified (Some Third Gens look better stock) but the RS's and SC's can use something.

I hear you. GM did make something close to what you're talking about. I really like the way some of the C4 Vettes look with the real low ground effects and the big spoiler in the back. I'd like a front facia for my car the is low to the ground and wraps around the front with a big opening in the front. I also want side skirts and a rear bumper to match. Something like they run in Trans-AM would be really cool.

..i was looking around my dad's shop and i came across the fromt bumper to a new grand prix, i think, what i wanted to do was incorporate the fog lamp sockets into my car so the fog lights are at the corners of the bumper instead of in the middle, like the newer 4th gens... i think that plus a straight f. bumper instead of how our gfx comes to a point in the front would look cool. also our SQUARE sealed beam headlights could go, someone needs to find a good replacement. but good luck taking a car designed in the 80's and making it look exotic..

Its obvious, I want something done to the body of my 92' camaro. I love the 3rd gen, dont get me wrong, but i feel its time for something new, i saw that body kit for $6,000 before, and im not really interested, Looks nice, but i dont have that kind of money with me, i just want something, for the front bumper, ground effects, and maybe something for the fenders, i dont want any drastic changes.

All I need to do now is find out where that kit came from. Could you shave the door handles while you're at it?

Heh,, I don't think I'm quite good enough to put a camaro front on there (no harm in trying tho I guess,,)

The kit is a Predator gfx kit made by Gobel (Kobel? maybe) I think/believe, JCWhitney used to carry them.

I have to agree the smoothed out body kit looks much better. Still would have to loose the mini F40 wing on the back though.

I agree, it Ticks me off some times when you roll up next to a Honda or something and it is all Decked out with eye candy. Dont get me wrong. I love the way a camaro and firebird looks, it just gets on my nerves that they make things for imports. I wish some one would come out with some thing alittle flashy for the 3rd gen. Not to flashy were it gets called rice. Although I will get flamed prolly for sayin it. I just want a litte flashness. But who cares. Just my 2 cents ( tink tink)

The firebird above has lost it's door handle now (I personally like the contrast doorhandles & body moulding add but, no one asked ).

This is a hack job, like most, (plus you'll really need to squint) on the camaro front request. I couldn't find any (big) pics of camaros at the angle the bird is sitting so,,, well,, here,,

It's not a great edit but, I'm nowhere near a pro at doing that.(also forgot to look for zr1 wheels,, u can use ur imagination )

As far as the back "f40" wing,, it appears to just be a 91-92 high rise camaro wing (not a half bad , and affordable, replacemet for the rotten factroy aerowing)

It may be a Hack Job but its a pretty good one. Even though you have to squint. I seen pics of that firebird and liked it. Looks just as good as a Camaro also.

deadbird...i think that was a damn good job on puttin the maro front end on there
i like the way those ground effects look moulded in.
heres a pic of what a 91-92 TA might look fully shaved, body dropped, chopped top, and with the bumper removed and a "roll pan" type of thing moulded in ....
kinda looks like a vette rear end from the side

Man, that is a great job deadbird! I am glad you did that because now I like the Ram Air hood on a Camaro. I think everything looks nice and smooth on it. It is nice to see some new ideas so keep up the good work

Consider a 4th gen styled fiberglass hood to give it a new wild look and lower it with ebiach springs..

They don't make that style RA hood for a Camaro . The only Firebird style hood for the Camaro's is the RA II ...which looks hideous on a Camaro . But I do agree , from that photoshop pic , the 93-97 RA style would probably look really good on a camaro .

That prototype Camaro is UGLY! Thank goodness they didn't make them like that! Kinda looks like a Daytona, or maybe my mind is just wandering around, and putting two completly unlike things together. Who knows....
