I plan on getting some touchup paint for my car. The paint is very weak that was used to repaint my car. How do I find out my color code? What are the procedures? What do I need...sandpaper, what grit? Buffing compounds? anything else I might need to clean up my rock chips, knicks, door dings, scratches and paint chips....any advice or help would be greatly appreciated...

go to the place that painted your car, and ask them NICELY for the code for your paint, then buy it.
take your car home. and with the car dry, LIGHTLY apply some paint,I REPEAT LIGHTLY APPLY PAINT.
then take 2000grit sand paper after waiting about a minute, let it dry please.
then lightly WETsand the area about an inch too big, that way it blends the clear into your chip. now dry that off, then take 3M perfect it II rubbing compound and buff that on. then take perfect it III machine glaze and buff that on. now you are set.
and if you are not happy you should have been more careful.
i do this for a living. so i do have some clue of what i am doing
