He's one of the older (much, much older) moderators here.
The reason why I think he closed it was because it is non-tech post that quite frankly will just lead to more flaming. No matter how intelligent of a post you try a create it will turn into nothing but a flame war.

I was labeled as a nice guy recently and I am working to change everyone’s opinion of me.
Just kidding, I closed it because it was not going to lead to any thing good. It would have just turned into a giant flame war.
