Red Painted Axle:

What do you guys think about painting the rear axle gloss red?? Its a california car so right now its rust. lol. The axle is visible from the rear depending on how low the observor is and i think it would look pretty damn sharp on a black car... Any pics or input??

I'm sorry, I think it would look tacky. You could always paint over it if you don't like it, though.

I wouldn't want it to stand out, but then again. I'm going black even with my UMI stuff.

ive seen it done on trucks im not a big fan. if you want some color paint it black and paint the gridle red are somthing like that not the whole thing.

i second the votes for black, i have all UMI suspension, and its all black, i dont see the need for red parts that stand out under the car, and look bad after they get dirty. Black hides dirt well, is stealthy, low maintenance, and goes with any color car.

I would clean the rear off and paint it black.
