91-92 Style Front Bumper on 88?
Hey guys I am wondering if an 91-92 style front bumper would fit on my 88. I like the look of the RAII hood better on the newer style.
If it's not a direct fit then how would I have to modify for my current body to accept the fit.
Thanks a lot!

You will need the impact bar. That is what holds the front turn signals and fog lights. If you don't have the impact bar the bumper will not fit. Also, you will have to modify the front light harness to work with the new lights. You will also need the ground effects that go in front of the front rims as well.

Seems like quite the task, would it match the side skirts ?

Actually you can use your stock headlights, but you have to remove the black bezels around the headlight. The bottom where there is a lip the 91-92 are slightly different.
If you swap out the headlights the headlights on the 91-92 are smaller. The covers are slightly different, actually you can modify the 82-90 style to work by cutting off one of the mounting ears to work... I have done it personally.
Your best bet is to find a junkyard car, remove the fascia, headlight assemblies, and the impact bar, do not forget to get the lower air-dam and the air deflectors that all attach to the bumper...
Good luck.
