Paint is scaling

In some spots, the paint is beginning to look like snake skin! It hasn't flaked yet, but it's beginning to look AWFUL. I really want a paint job but I can't afford it. Any solutions?

You can try touch up repair on the infected areas. It may not come out perfect, but may stop it from spreading.
