A local paint supplier had a waterbourne paint expo and Chip Foose was "possiably maybe" gona be there.My boss was gona take me but I wasnt feeling to good and figured it was too good to be true.If I could meet 1 famous person it would be Chip.I LOVE everything about him.I have like 5 pics of him hanging above my toolbox and more around my house.
So I go into work the next day and my boss gathered everyone up to talk about the show.First thing I asked him was, "Was he there?"
My boss just kinda nodded already knowing how upset I was that I had missed the opportunity of my lifetime.
So he get to talking....he says he got to meet him.He pulls a mini poster out of a bag...its addressed to me!!!FROM CHIP!!!!
I started crying!!!haha then gave my boss a hug.
THen he says that he waited in line for 2 & 1/2 hours to meet him.As he got closer he could see why....they had given tshirts away at the expo...Chip was drawing cars on the shirts for people.My boss said he spent about 10 mins talking to each person.
THEN my boss asks me, "what year is your Camaro? '85?"
He pulls a thsirt out WITH MY CAR ON IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought I was gona pass out!!!
My boss said he got in trouble cause his wife wanted to know where hers was!!!!HAHAHA!!!!!
It really sucks I didnt get to meet him, but I got a hell of a boss!!!

 

man that guy can draw like no other. that shirt is cool, i want one . i love that show overhaulin. i would like to meet him also. meeting him was the chance of a life time.
