Thanks for all the replies guys. I do appreciate all "respectful" responses. I'm not gonna get it, instead i'm getting a whole 'nother car!!! Tomorrow i'm going to get a 92 RS Camaro. A purple one, really nice. Needs a little body work, and it has some, dare i say, Wood grain on the interior. All can be fixed with a short stop at the boneyard

Again, thanks for all the replies, i do repect everyone's opinion, even those who express it in very vulgar manners.

Has anyone seen the Jegster one you can buy from JEGS? My buddy has one on his M*stang and it looks good. I was thinking of putting the same on my Trans Am. It would fit perfectly. Its a flat style drag race wing. (listed as pro stock style)

Lol... Try 220 dude... Sure they squeeze 220 hp out of a 2 liter 4 banger, but that power comes at 7k+ w/ a red line of 8900 and like no torque at all... Good thing that car is really light or that motor would be a very expensive paper wieght. Not to mention I've heard they are having lots of fun valve problems with those high strung little things.

Actually, it's 240 horsepower @ 8300 RPM, but only like 157 ft-lbs of torque. I don't like them at all.

That wing is the ugliest thing I've seen in my life. Why mess up a good car with a piece of crap wing. You could spend money on something good instead of getting that. If you don't think that looks ugly then you must be blind because that is so freakin ugly. Nuf Said!

I'm sorry I could not pass this one up...

Wings CAN do alot to streamline a car... Ever see a nascar vehicle???? ever see a GT Series car??? how about rally series??? Wings can do a great deal to move the air where it needs to go and not where it wants to go. Wings CAN be made to match ANY VEHICLES body lines.

How ever the wings on Z's and Irocs do nothing but creat lift on the car. Did you know that? They do nothing to help areodynamics when Gm put them on.

You're not right either.

A 'spoiler' is commonly used to streamline a car (whatever you guys mean by streamline). When you need to manage air flow and minimize vehicle drag you almost ALWAYS use strategically placed spoilers.

Wings on the other hand serve a different purpose. They are used to provide massive downforce and/or lift. They are not desirable in the sense that they create a lot of drag on the vehicle. Now it's only natural that when race teams put wings on their cars they try to design the system such that the wing can also collect air to areas where they need good air flow. But keep in mind the primary function of a wing is to provide downforce or lift.

So.... from a function of purpose a wing on a street car is one of the goofiest things I can think of.

Nope, 240 horsepower. Check out this link, directly from Honda.

Ever driven a S2000? They are fun to drive, but personally, I don't like them that much.

But yes, 240 horsepower, not 285.

Well guys, i didn't know you all were still "fighting" over this post. After all i said it looked stupid myself

I got a new car today though!!!!!!

A purple 1992 RS. I've always dreamed of having one like it. I'm so excited.

Does anyone know the web-site to get new bottom hinges for the doors??

Personally, I wouldn't go with it if I had a Firebird. To me, it looks out of place. Now, I don't think that the GM "AeroWing" spoiler on the 91/92 Z28's look bad... maybe just because it was a factory option.

Just my two cents...

Can I ask a question? WHAT IS SO WRONG WITH THE SPOILER THAT CAME ON IT?? I mean atleast we know that one is american... i can even understand going for something similar to Z28 spoiler.. the whole aluminum thing just dont flow with me... atleast paint the thing black or whatever color the car is.. that would be enough... as long as i dont see what i saw the other night... a '91 Camaro RS with clear tailights, red neon underneath and around license plate, flashing headlight accents, blacklight inside, and gold trim around wheels and doorhandles.. i almost parked and cried in middle of highway!
