Showquality paint job in the Northeast

As the subject suggests... My convertible needs paing and I want it to be perfect, better than showroom. I plan on making the car a stock show car, but I need a really, really good paint job. Thanks

If you're willing to pay, and you're willing to wait, I can give you a couple names in Western MA. Or, hit a cruise night and look at a few cars with great paint, and ask the guys where they had it done. You'll probably find a couple good shops in your area.

But, be prepared to pay a fortune. Great paint requires a ton of dis-assembly (then of course re-assembly) and a lot of time color sanding and buffing. Prep work is also extremely important in order to get good results.

In North Adams, there's my father's shop (Louie's Autobody), and T&M Auto Sales. In Adams there is Duteau Collision (Or something like that) and his kid is a pompus *** , but can paint flames on anything.

I can check with my dad to see if he wants to take on a winter project. After mine he said never again.

If you've got some pics along with a detailed description of the body, including any rust, dents, etc, that would be a help too.

Thanks for the reply. I am going out to buy a camera for my bike pics so I will take close-up pics of my baby too. There is no rust and the only dent is on the hood from where I dropped a rotor on it!(doh) Also, the back wing is loose on one side and I can see where the bolt sits the fiberglass in the wing is falling apart. I am gonna TRY and attach pics of my baby here soon...
