valve covers need help

Anybody know of anything that can be used to remove stains from polished aluminum valve covers? I've tried a few things but nothing seems to be working. I think the stains are power steering fluid that hardened from the heat of the engine. Any ideas?

I used a combination of Brillo pads and Mean Green and they came out brand new.

If it's polished aluminum, repolish them - some 2000 grit sand paper (or more course if needed), followed by polish (like White Diamond).
