Spary Tint???
I thought I read awhile back someone said something about a kind of spray that is a tint. I wanted to get this to use on my front turn signals, I checked at autozone they didn't have it.
Or I was thinking about buying the roll on tint Wal-Mart sells, but would the heat from the lights burn it?

Check down the list in this board section for the spray on stuff.
I think there is a topic about that already going on.
They do make a spray on tint, but I don't know what it is called.
As for the regular tint.....
I made some headlight covers many years ago for another car I owned.
(they did not make them for this type of car)
I made them using plexiglass and standard window tint.
I never had a problem with fading or turning color when they were on the car. Had them on the for several years.
Only problem is....
You would have to sand/cut down any raised lettering that is on the lense since it will only peel at that area. You need a nice smooth surface for the roll film, or else you're just asking for problems.
Oh, just remembered...
I think that other topic is about something called Night Shades......

Nakamichi CD-35z, Infinity Kappa Series 4x6 & 5 1/4" speakers, Fosgate 12" sub in a custom box, 200watt amp for the sub.
Future Mods & Add Ons

take a look at the black-outing and tinting topic.
they got some good info in there.
One thing I might suggest to you though.
I tried the spray on tint stuff 15 years ago. And from that experience I learned it takes some practice to get it right.
And things may have improved by now also with the spray on tint stuff.
I suggest if you decide to go with the spray on stuff........
Go down to home depot and buy a small sheet of plexi glass to practice on first before you attack the car.
The sheets are pretty cheap compaired to a new lense.
Just a thought.

yeah, get the NightShade tint spray from Summit. I just finished using that stuff on my taillights and middle brake light today and it looks great. They go back on tomorrow morning, i cant wait to see what it looks like on the car. It is some pretty good stuff. I wanted to do my park lights and side markers, but i got alittle carried away with the stuff and used it all, oh well, ill just order some more when i get my cat back and headers.
