im rebuilding the rearend tommorow and want to clean it up and paint it. but im not sure what paint would be best to use. i hear POR15 is goodm but where can i get it? if not that than would a few light coats of engine paint, enamel or something else be best?

Great stuff, a tad expensive but worth every dollar spent.

I used high temp gloss black enamel to paint my rear. Its looks like the day I painted it.

Hey, I've got a coating that chemically bonds with the rust and prevents any further rusting. It turns black when dry. Works great and you can paint whatever color you want on top of it. It is also a lot cheaper than por15!!! email me if you are interested.
