i've seen multiple cars now that have two stripes along the ground effects, i'm wondering if that was a factory option in 1992? i know a guy with a 92 with the stripes, i thought the dealership it was at might have had it sitting on the lot for awhile and put stripes on to help it sell (?). but now i'm seeing more of them and really liking the look!!! please post pictures if you have any!

not a factory option for 91-92 cars.....the stripe is from iroc cars which were last available in 90.

Oh and your going to hear from "purist" that will say that they dont belong on a RS......but if you like them go ahead and and put'em on.

I actually think the stripes look pretty sweet. The draw some attention to the ground effects and make to car stand out a little

wonder if all dealerships asked customers that had ordered them or bought them from them if they wanted stripes on it. i keep seeing them driving around and finding pics of them on the web.

ya, you gotta hate that whole purist thing where people say they are only for iroc's but oh well, i like them, but i wouldn't put it on my current car. i want to get a grey car and do the red/white stripes like my buddy's car (above) they look like iroc stripes, but they aren't the same color combo that iroc stripes came in???
