The dreaded R-word

We're talking about R-U-S-T.
Thirdgens prone to it.
I have a common rust problem.
It's not severe but I know it will be if I don't do something ASAP.
Right now its only minor surface rust.

Sorry about the image size of the first one, I just wanted to show incredible detail :P How much is it going to cost to repair? It's only happening to this wheel well.

The rest of the paint is fine. It just suffers right there.

Sand it off Jack. Get it all. Rust = cancer. Since its in the wheel well, you could probably get away with doing it yourself. Just get some primer, match the paint color, and clearcoat it.

Sand the roughness off (loose paint) & go to a welders supply store & get some cold galv compound to spray on there,,,,, it will prevent the rust from spreading for minimal cost.

I have it on the same place. So did my cousin. We sanded his, took off his wheel, sprayed from inside to out, clear coated it. ALL done and looks good. You can do it OEJ. Im gonna do my car soon.
