No, Im not leaving it black, I just don't have the cash to foot the bill to paint and stripe it at the moment. I will probably take it in to be done in early Spring '10. Stay tuned...

I agree. I wanted a 2" cowl originally, but they had this one at Summit Racing for $200 (originally $518!) and I didn't want to turn it down as the 2" I wanted was $450 + $125 to ship.
I was a little unsure about it when I first put it on (that is, the cowl being too high), but I think having that high-rise wing in the back actually makes the taller hood look a little more at home on the car.
I think a 2.5" cowl would have been the perfect match, but for the money I paid for it I wont complain ; )

Ill be joining you guys Monday! Too bad I will have the 3.1 in it for awhile, but thats only temporary.
I cant wait to see the hood painted with the stripes! Kinda will give me an idea of what my car will look like!

I got that same hood, the only thing i hate about it is that lip in the front but i plan to fix that
