Best way to describe the camaro?

I don't know if this is the best place to post this, but please move it if it's not.

I just want to know...if you had to choose one word to describe the camaro in the best way, what would it be?

I am trying to think of names for a website other than chevymaro.com or camaro.com.

Thanks!

Re: Best way to describe the camaro?

Why is the camaro such a moneypit? I've never owned one, so I don't know much. I am looking to buy one as soon as I can now that i have a job and stuff.

Re: Best way to describe the camaro?

Cause once you buy exhaust for it, you will want headers, then you will want more power so you will buy a gear, then you will think "man, my car will look nice with some aggressive wheels" then you will want more power, so u replace the engine with something more powerful, then u will need a trans and rear end to hold the power and so on...never stops...

Best advice if you are broke is to keep it stock!

I have to agree with you on that. Usually the list on the things you want to do to your camaro never stops

LOL. That's why I've decided to keep my exterior stock appearing, but still nice. So I don't spend $3,000 on rims/tires, $600-$1,000 on an aftermarket hood, a fancy aftermarket grille, a $5,000+ candy paint job.

That kind of money will be better invested in my engine and trans, plus a decent, but low key paint job. There's something about sleepers that I just like.

Re: Best way to describe the camaro?

Your not the only one Shadow Z. I also like sleeper cars. I wish I could of made my camaro into a sleep but instead I made my vw bug into a sleeper. I always crack up in laugher when a guy would pull next to me driving a bmw, mustang thinking that my bug was slow. Hahahahaha. When the light turn green it felt the I would pop a wheelie in it and the next thing I see is his car getting smaller in my rear view mirrow. . To bad I had to down grade my engine I had to get some money to fund my cars.

Re: Best way to describe the camaro?

IMO i dont really think you can make a 3rd gen camaro a sleeper. There really isnt a difference in body style that will tell between Z28 and RS besides the small emblems. And a Z28 I think stock is a prtty fast car. Idk something about the look of a 3rd gen says mean and fast.

LOL sorry about that man. Well there are a lot of ways to describe a camaro, the only thing is idk what a good one would be for a website, there are already a lot out there. IMO id make sure the name has camaro in it just so people know what it is rather then just a describtion of one.

What kinda website is it gunna be?

Re: Best way to describe the camaro?

Well my plan was to have the word camaro in it. i was thinking things along the line of coolcamaro.com and things like that. It's just that those are so boring. Like cool camaro. If you get what I mean.

I was just thinking of making a general camaro website that has people's pics on there and different specs and stuff. I know there are a ton of other website like that already but I always like to try.

I have a camaro website already but I was thinking of doing it a different way and maybe more people with go there.

http://chevymaro.freehostia.com - that's it

Re: Best way to describe the camaro?

I am sure everyone has said this before, but for me a Camaro is a steel bodied four seat Corvette. With the obvious exception to looks, but the drivetrains (the L98's and 700R4's) were pretty much Corvette items with just less performance. I know someone is going to call me on this one, but the Third Gen Firebirds were actually more closer to a Corvette.

I've got over $14,000 in parts and the car is currently in 50 or so pieces (in the middle of a rebuild).

I'd call it a "major pain in the ***". Broke ALL 4 bolts removing the tranny cross member.

Re: Best way to describe the camaro?

I have purchased enough new parts that are Genuine GM to make my car practically new again with some minor un noticeable upgrades. Labor of love.

Re: Best way to describe the camaro?

Looking at your current site, it appears that our beloved 3rd gen won't be the only Camaro of interest.

How about allgenfbody.(whatever)? Or, allgencamaro.(whatever) if you want to exclude Firebirds. A quick look on godaddy.com says those are available.

Re: Best way to describe the camaro?

Well i was going to name it allgencamaro.com but there is already an allgencamaros.com.

All it takes is one mistake to send a person to another website.

Any more ideas?

how about ponycarcamaro.com?

or musclecarcamaro.com?
