What is the best way to clean a convertable top and keep it in good condition?

Mothers makes a convertable top cleaner that I use and have good experiences with. I did half the top with that stuff, and half with regular car soap, and the Mothers side was brighter and cleaner than the other. It's sort of a blue gel stuff in a squirt bottle.

I use a scrub brush and lightly scrub the top. Comes out really nice using car wash suds. I'm gonna have to find some of that Mother's stuff though and give it a try.

I've been doing the scrub brush for the past 3 years on the original 10 year old top and no leaks!
