81 hood bird on 83 t/a?

Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: 10 bolt posi, 3.23
81 hood bird on 83 t/a?
I have an 83 t/a that i am restoring, i really dont like the stock decal for the cowl induction hood.
I was wondering if anyone knew the dimensions for the hood bird for an 81 trans am. or if they know for a fact that it would fit. Because i personally like it a lot better. thanks
