To be honest im not sure what color blue that is.... It was painted that blue in the late 90's when i got it. I added the black upper but the blue has been on it for at least 13 years that I know of..... Come to think of it, I think thats one of the very few things that is left of the original car. Oh and thanx for the compliment. It has been a long road to get it to this stage from the 6cyl commuter it used to be...

You've seen tons of those around here i'm sure.They are Ronal Firehawks from the second run i believe.That look is one of the reasons i love these wheels so much!

 

Oh shi*t I love those wheels, I've never seen them from that angle and didn't realize how much dish they had.

iansane, it's a griffin rad. I get that all the time lol! There was a turbo mounted infront of the motor so the stock rad support was cut and now the rad is mounted closer to the nose, I like it!

The hood is flat black.The underside of the hood has pretty bad rust so I just scuffed it up and painted it flat black to hide all the dents,then a little red blood spatter to hold me over until I can afford the carbon fiber hood with 4" cowl

It depends on how good it looks raw.I don't know what it is,I guess growing up around drag racing I became a fan of black hoods on a different color car.Either way if it looks good raw I'll keep it raw.I'll probably catch some flak from the tuner guys or carbon haters but if I like it thats all tha matters,If it doesn't look good raw it'll be flat black.

 

yeah if you like it who cares who doesnt, people can only support your decisions not make them for you

 

I realize the hood could be a lot better but why spend the cash for a paint job on a rusted dented hood?I have been saving and it will take another paycheck to get the one I want so patience is a virtue.Besides with the engine going in and my intake setup I need a cowl anyway because the hood won't close so it's worth the wait.I could run it without a hood but then everyone would see the imperfections.
