Stinky Interior
Stinky Interior
Hi all,
Need some help here. I've got slightly leaky t-tops, and I didn't drive my car for a few weeks so it basically sat with the windows up and we had a few rainy days so it got damp inside and now the car smells all musty inside. What can I use to de-stink it? I've tried febreeze and it doesnt help once the perfume smell wears off. Any ideas?
Thanks

GO to Autozone and buy about 30 "cowboy hat" airfresheners not only do they look cool but they smell great. Thats what work on my buddies 72 Ford Thunderbird. Or you can shampoop your whole interior.

go to any hardware store and you can get this stuff, it is like little pebbles in a bucket. i forget the name exactly. anyways, you put this little bucket of whatever in any damp area, and it soaks up all the moisture from the car. it actually fills the bucket with water then. and they also sell these discs that you hang and they absorb all odor out of the air. they are like a dollar, and look like the things you see in a public toilet kinda, but bigger. they work great. i had a problem like you , and in a day or two these 2 things took care of it completely. email me if you need to know more, and i can get names of the products for you.
