Many thanks for the great deal on the tires. I just put them on today, and I must say it is a major improvement. Anybody out there who hasn't heard of this deal, email CarNdrvr and get some before they are gone.
As far as people who are worried about the profile or ground clearance problems, don't. I have been running Dunlop GT Qualifiers in 265/50-15 for the last couple of years with a 1-1/2 inch drop, and these 245/45-16's are only slightly shorter and narrower than my Dunlops. You have to look at them side by side to tell. I was worried about the size diiference too, but not after a fun day of breaking them in. So get some now!
