how do i restore my dual snorkle intakes shine?

i am just wondering if there is any way i can clean up ym dual snorkle intake ot look like new. right now its a bit faded and i have seen a pic of someones angine and it looks brand spanking new any info would be apricaiated, thankes

is it peeling or rusted? I know mine was before I went w/ an open element. maybe sandblast the old paint and rust off and repaint it w/ a gloss finish (although you won't have the sticker on top of it but I think you can buy those anyways)

Well, it's plastic right? They make kits to restore plastic. With a buffing wheel and a drill... you should be able to make it brand new looking. Once you do that, use some tire shine or something of that nature that causes stuff to shine on it. Ought to shine better than new.
