Ok so I'm putting together a TPI 350 for my Maro, blew the carb'd one. Should I paint the intake or polish it? Polishing it won't be too bad just alot of time, painting seems like the easy way out but I have already painted the block gloss black and the heads silver(aluminum look), valve covers are wrinkle finish black, if I paint it the engine can be back together by friday, polishing is anyones guess... This is what it looks like now...

Do I polish the runners and paint the plenum and base? polish the plenum paint the rest? Or Paint it all? Or polish it all? I'm lost give me your opinions.

I do have a billet alternator, waterpump, and PS pump, guess polish wouldn't be too bad, Mike yours looks awesome, kinda wish mine was SD instead of MAF so I could do a filter like that. Guess it all depends on how far I get before my trans comes back. I've had the car painted since like June and only put 150 miles on it I really wanna drive it again.
