Are leds waterproof?

Are leds waterproof?
This might be a dumb question but I got some undercar leds and I was wondering if I should be worried about driving in rain.

an led is, but the circuitry its attached to isnt waterproof naturally, but kits for under lighting on cars and such are usually sealed and fully waterproof. It should be pretty easy to tell, if you see bare circuit board, its not waterproof, if its all in a tube of some kind, it is waterproof.

well wire is water proof but how did you do the connections? if the connections are tucked up and shrink wrapped then yes your good but if they are hanging down with a bad electrical tape job then it will short out. Lastly, you should have a fuse inline with the power source so just in case water gets in somewhere it will blow the fuse and nothing else
