What bull@hit about it, unless he's trying to pass it off as an original 350, which there weren't any in '86 right along with T-tops especially, sorry I don't know too much about Pontiacs.

It's probably a 305 and he's just saying it's a 350. Happens all the time.

The thing is, he doesn't say it's the original engine though, but with that kind of milage I would assume it's original.

Look if he swapped a 350 in it... hed at least say something about it.... it is stock it doesnt even have an exhaust....

The 8th digit of the VIN is an F. That would make it a 305 TPI. So unless its not the original motor, I would have to say he just doesn't know what he's talking about.

Evidently he's updated the description. He now states it is indeed a 350 purchased from the local dealer and swapped for the original 305 c.i. engine. You'd think he would have at least detailed the engine compartment in preparation for selling it.
