I didnt know how/ or if I could change my screen name on here, so I made a new one to chronicle my build. My old name is luvmy64, but i no longer have a 64 Chevy, so it seemed kind of obsolete...

A little history:
I bought an 89 RS on E-gay, towed it all the way home from South Carolina, and on the maiden voyage of taking it down the road, it burned to the ground.

A couple months later, found a 92 Purple Haze RS on Craigslist. Drove it 5+ hours from the other side of Georgia. Found a guy locally (well, about an hour and a half away) who deals in Camaro parts, and got the wing and hood from a Z28 car. Also bought a 350 Tuned Port motor from him for 300 bucks, complete with accessories.....(WIN!!!)

So far, ive been doing body work and exhaust, and also the BMW E36 Halo headlight mod. Paint is first on the list, then i will swap out the TBI 305 for the TPI 350.

I will update with pics and such, but let me say up front that this site is a priceless resource when working on these cars. If you can think it, most likely someone on this site has done it.

 

I frenched the exhaust tips into the rear spoiler....

 

It will have red halos and BMW E36 headlights....
