a very , very common problem . punch " adjust rear hatch " in the search function at the top of the page . dozens of writeups on the fixes . BTW this should be in the body section . good luck .

You beat me to it. I was going to say 'hatch alignment' though.

There are many threads and each say pretty much the same thing. I just found one saying to use masking tape as a guide to where the panel needs to be slid up to. Very informative.
