sure, you could make it look better, but these things are so easy to remove, why bother?

I did. About 15-20 hours later it looks exacly how I wanted. I polished my AC bits installed as well. As micktroup2 said, I felt it a little over the few days I did it in. Not my back tho. Just my legs and hands (hand sanding will do that) but I'm reletively young.58mark, my reason was because I just didn't feel like removing it or buying new gaskets.

I have reused the gaskets several times (I always snag a couple of extras of various gaskets when I am at the the junk yard though, just as backups) but this last time I bought some gasket material from Pepboys for about $7 and cut my own. Makes it a lot easier and a hell of a lot cheaper than the dealer, given that I can make just the gaskets for the top plenum, instead of having to buy the entire kit...
