Hi, can anyone tell me how to remove the seats from my 92 rs convertable, back seats especially i have seats from a 91 and they are power is there a plug under the seats i have now to plug them into? thanks for all your help folks!

Now in all seriousness, the powered seats have a plug underneath the seats. Should be no different for convertibles.
The seats sit on rails. The rails have plastic caps on them. Take off the plastic caps, remove the 4 bolts for the seats, pull them aside (doing the back seats first, then pulling the fronts back should give you space) and unplug the plug.

The back of the rear seats have a bolt in the lower corners left and right, the seats theselves are secured with a single bolt up front. If you have a split rear seat, they still only have 2 bolts. The centre part is just a pin.

 

the seats in the convertable dont have a plug, how are back seats attached? so there shuodl still be a plug even if there was no power seats to begin with?

 

Just edited my previous post regarding the backseats.

The non-powered fronts have no plugs. I believe the wire harness for powerseats is still there, but only for the drivers side.

 

There are only two bolts for each rear seat. One just below each seat cushion on the front and one on the outer parts of the back rest. You need to remove the cushions before you can get to the back rests.. if you need pics just let me know.. ill snap a few for you.

 

Unbolt them. 4 bolts on each front, 2 bolts on the rear....
